He received his BFA from the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, New York (2003\u20137). He then continued his studies at Universit\u00e4t der K\u00fcnste and Humboldt University (2004\u20135) in Berlin, where he read Kant, Nietzsche, Kierkegaard, and Schopenhauer. In 2007 he worked as an intern at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice. From 2008 to 2018 he wrote a blog titled \u201cI like to watch\u201d about the artists of his generation. In 2017 he successfully submitted his MA thesis on Ndebele Mural Art and the Commodification of Ethnic Style. At present, he is working on a doctoral dissertation entitled \u201cPattern Repetition and Meaning: The Symbolism of Beadwork Textiles and Murals in African Geometric Abstraction\u201d under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tobias Wendl from Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin and PD.
